The Tuesday Night Indoor 600 Round
Will begin January 5th
Adult $4.00, Youth under 18, $2.00, Under 12 shoots free at all times.
The 600 round is 60 arrows shot at 20 yards at a 20cm face.
The face is scored 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
A 20 cm face measures about 18 inches by 18 inches.
The 60 arrows are shot in ends of 3, that means 3 arrows shot 20 times.
A perfect score would be 600
The archer has a choice of two faces The regular 20cm face includes all of
the scoring area mentioned above, or a three spot face which includes the 10
ring, 9, 8 and 7 ring. If the archer chooses the three spot face any arrow
outside of the 7 ring is counted as zero! Why would an archer chose a three
spot target? Because each arrow is shot into its own target, thus lessening
the chance of one arrow striking, and damaging another.
The Indoor 600 round is shot every
Tuesday night starting at 7:30 P.M. until April.
You may not be a terrific archer, and you may feel embarrassed the first time out, however after a few weeks you will be a better archer, and you will get to know the archers participating every Tuesday night --- Be part of the in crowd, get in the action, learn what archery is all about!
